Aesthesys

Aesthesys is a project of russian musician Nickholas Koniwzski, founded in 2007.

The name is derived from the abbreviation AESTHE (An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything) and it looks like misspelled word ‘aesthetic’. Aesthesys’ music can be described as instrumental post-rock with ambient and neoclassical influences.

My Humble Opinion

Deep, melancholic, enchanting, for me this is undoubtedly the musical discovery of the month. I never appreciated russian post-rock scene too high for it's unprofessional approach, lack of depth and thouhghtfullness, but THIS is what I can call an exception. Aesthesys's music stunned me from the first notes and made me proud of having such a compatriot.

Philisophical reflections wonderfully turned into music.
